Dreamboard App App Reviews

Pretty cool and fun

This app is better than keeping a dream journal because it has a cool layout and points out the similarities between dreams that you can then use to try to lucid dream. It motivates me to use it every day not just because of the reminder but the fact that its fun to fill out and see how it graphs to your other dreams.

Insanely Buggy

This would be a fantastic app. It is by far the best mixture of clean design and useful features Ive seen in a dream journaling app. The daily reminders with alarms is fantastic. The design is great. Although for me at least (iPhone 5s iOS 8) it is unusable. It freezes all the time. On literally any page you can freeze the app by simply swiping at normal speed. If this app worked properly I would have given it 5 stars, and more importantly, I would have actually used it.

Stupid sign in process.

Why do I need to create an entire profile in order to use this app? Birthdate and gender? Why not ask for my SSN while youre at it? Deleted before even using.

Would be 5 stars

But the sign in gets old fast.

Location?!

It said it was safe and secure. I dont like the fact that it asks for your location...let alone your birthday. DELETE. Otherwise, it looked like a good app. But Ill never know!

Great app, HORRIBLE Controls. Please Fix this!

I would Ive this app 5 stars for being the most beautiful and detailed dream journal Ive ever used. However, there are some major usage problems that need to be fixed: 1) Auto Logout- if Im waking up in the middle of the night and trying to write down every detail of my dream before I forget, having to remember my password and logging in again takes away from that. 2) Keyboard gets stuck/will not scroll/no auto-save Its happened many times already. Ill type out the entire dream and have to continue to scroll down to answer other questions about the dream before hitting save at the bottom. However, the keyboard will not retract and scrolling down will not get you anywhere. Theres no "next" button and when you click anywhere else to get rid of the keyboard the page will go back and delete everything you just wrote. I will continue using this app because it is the most useful in dream tracking, but please fix these bugs and add more emotion options.

Not all that great as a dream app...

There seems to be a problem with the login (or accounts in general) For one, I created my account through facebook, but apparently it doesnt realize I created an account already with that address and thus the entries I created in this seem to be gone (how does that even make sense? Why does it even auto sign out at all?) It is a nice app, if not a bit too complex and counter-intuitive to actually keep track of dreams (not to say some wont find it good)

Great app!

Love to use it. Makes dream journaling easy and fun

Pointless access to personal info

Why does the signup require my exact location? The rest of the info isnt very necessary either.

Great app however...

This is a great application and makes a nice recorder for your dreams, log your dream frequency and your dream vocabulary (especially if you do not have time to sit I front of a dream journal in the morning). But thats pretty much all it is, a log. And they are terribly slow about password resets.

A few Kinks

I love this app already, but there are quite a few bugs. 1) When I tried to get into settings, it crashed. Then when i tried again, it froze. 2) I cant get into alarms either. I click the add button but it doesnt respond. 3) When I finally got into settings, I couldnt scroll down. Like i said, i love this app, but all there is is the bugs. This is the best dreaming app Ive come across in a long time. WHY DO ALL THE BEST APPS HAVE BUGS????

What Ive been looking for

Ive wanted to track my dreams, not just write them down and relive them, for a long time. This app satisfies that. I like the options it gives, especially the colors, and I look forward to using it. I cant say that about a lot of apps. I also LOVE that theres a web app and use it as well.

Online accounts?

Journals are private, why force users to create an account or log in through Facebokk?!

Amazing app!

I love the app. Very detailed features allows me to recall more details of the dream and makes it easier to track dreams. I can even share the dreams to Evernote which is awesome.

Doesnt work

When the try to save, it tells me I need a dream title, which I enter again and again, but it disappears as soon as I scroll down. Will not let me enter anything in Things. When I click on it, it goes to Places instead. Would be nice if we could set the font and size, since I am hard of seeing that small type. It would also be nice if you had a large window to record the dream, then hit a button to open a window to add everything else. All the mood details. The dream recording itself almost seems like an afterthought. Good idea, bad execution.

A Great App Just Waiting for Improvements

This is a great app, but it would be a five-star app with just a few improvements! First of all, the app does everything it promises, it has a great lay out and helps me remember dreams more clearly by offering prompts like colors, places, things, emotions, etc. This is the sole reason why I keep this app vs. others. However, I would really like the option to turn on an in app dream dictionary and moon phases. I say "turn on" because I know not everyone likes that sort of thing, so Id suggest that the option be added but you could turn it off and on in the settings. If the app had those two elements, it would include every other option offered by every other dream journal-type app offered in the App Store! No other app provides all of these key elements all together!

Was hoping for a bit more.

Great alternative to a dream journal. I dont always have the time to fill out a proper recollection of events, and this allows for recording in a much simpler abridged format. Was expecting/hoping for more in the way of analysis and stats, though. I would like to see in numbers things like how often a certain theme occurs. Some dream apps attempt to find connections between food/sleep habits and dream mood/themes. I think something like that would be really cool. Any kind of large-scale analysis, because as it stands it doesnt seem to be too superior to just using the default note application.

Intrusive sign in

Photo avatars, email addresses, and locations? Apps like this give me the heebie jeebies.

Nice App

Pros: Great app, easy and convenient for imputing key elements of the dream. Dark theme night logs. Password protected private mode Cons: your very personal information may stored on THIER servers so you dont really own your dreams!! Also they only provide mostly negative emotions to choose from but you can add your own. Finally it does appear to be an option to export or backup your dream journal and analysis to another platform in the event you lose your phone etc.

Awesome app for chronicling your dreams!

I have had a very pleasant and bug-free experience with this app and have enjoyed the plethora of features and options for detailing my dreams. It has options for labeling dreams as lucid, and even lets you choose colors to associate with different dreams.
