Doesnt advance past sign-up screen

I was looking forward to trying this app. If you have privacy concerns, it might help to use code, at least for nouns.
However, a design flaw causes the app to require a location for use. A FURTHER design flaw and/or glitch means that you cannot advance beyond the sign-up screen without an automatic location enabled on your device. It doesnt accept a manual location. It makes no sense for what I understand to be a dream-journaling app to require location data.
